Job Description Job Description Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher
of the Visually Impaired certification and 1 years Teacher of the
Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. We are seeking an
experienced and dedicated districtwide itinerant teacher for
students who are visually impaired. This full-time, onsite position
offers the opportunity to work across grade levels, including
Grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12, providing specialized instruction and
support to students throughout the district. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored instruction and support to visually impaired
students in accordance with individual education plans (IEPs).
Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
to ensure accessibility and academic success. Conduct assessments
and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as
needed. Provide assistive technology training and resources to
students and staff. Travel within the district to serve multiple
school sites, supporting students districtwide. Qualifications:
Valid Texas Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) educator
license. Experience working with students who are visually impaired
across various grade levels (K-12). Strong communication and
collaboration skills. Ability to manage itinerant caseload with
effective time management. Location and Schedule: Position based
onsite in Pearland, TX. 32.5 hours per week, full time schedule.
