Job Description Job Description Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher
of the Visually Impaired certification and 1 years Teacher of the
Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
opportunity is available for a certified teacher specializing in
visual impairment to support K-12 students in an itinerant role.
This position requires on-site presence and offers part-time
availability options. Serving students across early childhood,
elementary, middle, and high school levels, this role demands a
licensed educator with a Texas teaching license. Key
Qualifications: Valid Texas teaching license in the area of visual
impairment Certification for teaching visually impaired students
Experience working across a range of grade levels from early
childhood through high school Ability to deliver individualized
instruction and support in an itinerant capacity Strong
communication and collaboration skills to work alongside school
staff and families Location: On-site position based in Katy, TX
Responsibilities: Assess and develop instructional plans tailored
to students with visual impairments Provide direct instruction and
support within various school settings Coordinate with classroom
teachers and support personnel to ensure accessibility and
inclusion Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies
accordingly Maintain accurate records in compliance with district
