an Electrical Assembler in our JFK location. As a leader in the

The Electrical Assembler position requires proficiency through
training and considerable on-the-job experience, provides solutions
to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently
occurring based on existing precedents or procedures and completes
work with a limited degree of supervision. Regularly provides
informal guidance and support to less experienced team members.
Assembles components per assembly drawings / bill of material.
Performs point to point and electrical testing on assemblies. Tests
assemblies per customer and/or division criteria. Operates test
equipment in compliance with engineering standards. Applies
settings, calibrates and maintains assembly tools. Job Requirements
Perform work in compliance with all safety, environmental, and
quality expectations while supporting a production schedule.
Execute daily priorities as defined by the supervisor or area lead.
Assemble and assist with the testing of electrical units and
control systems in accordance with engineering test procedures.
Complete all required documentation. Support continuous improvement
and HSSE projects. Good electrical background. Knowledge on
Soldering, wire crimping and specs, electrical harnesses,
electrical enclosures, back panels, PLC’s etc. Knowledge of
electrical tools, crimpers, hand tools and power tools needed for
assembly. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve wiring or equipment
issues per electrical schematics. Ability to safely operate
forklifts and other material moving equipment. Ability to apply
basic written and verbal communication skills. Ability to apply
concepts of basic math and basic PC skills. Ability to read and
comprehend instructions, work orders and drawings. Ability to work
independently and in a team environment. Ability to work, focus and
thrive in a very fast paced and noisy work environment. Ability to
work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid
conditions. The employee must regularly lift, push, pull and/or
move up to 30 lbs and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and performance to meet
production and business needs. Maintain a safe, clean and organized

duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications High School
Diploma or equivalent. 3 years electrical assembly experience.
Desired Characteristics 3 years of instrumentation and electrical
experience. IPC 610 & 620 Certifications Demonstrated ability to
read engineering drawings and specifications. Demonstrated ability
to read electrical schematics. Strong oral and written
communication skills. Strong work ethic and adherence to processes
and policies. Experience with Oracle or SAP. Ability to read, write
and communicate in the English language. High attention to detail,
accuracy with numbers. Ability to work with a sense of urgency
while maintaining accuracy and order. Additional Information Must
be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time
basis, now or in the future, without employer sponsorship for
employment visa status. No relocation assistance. 6:30AM – 3:00PM
Monday through Friday (with week-day and weekend overtime as
