Job Description:

We are seeking an infusion nurse (RN) with IVIg experience interested in providing in-home infusions for a local patient.

Infusion Details:

• Medication: Privigen
• Loading Doses: Infuse 45 grams once daily for 4 days
• Maintenance Doses: Infuse 45 grams once daily for 2 days every month. (Starting 1 month (30 days) from Day 1 of Loading Doses)
• Length of treatment: 5 hours and 30 Minutes + Prep Time
• Location: Houston, TX 77069 (North Houston)
• Date of Service: The patient is requesting to be seen on either of the following dates ranges for loading doses:
  • 5/26 - 5/29 OR
  • 5/27 - 5/30
  • Access: PIV
  • Pump: Curlin Pump Preferences:
    • The patient prefers an early afternoon start time (12 or 1 PM) Responsibilities of the PRN Home Infusion Registered Nurse
      • Deliver immune globulin infusion therapies directly to the patient in the comfort of their home.
      • Make a meaningful impact by leveraging your clinical IV expertise and compassionate care to support patients within their environment.
      • Provide personalized, one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education aligned with the physician's treatment plan.
      • Demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and other collaborative partners. Requirements of the PRN Home Infusion Registered Nurse:
        • Active and unencumbered nursing license in the state of practice
        • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers (approved by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
        • IVIg experience, preferably in the home
        • A valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance are required, with access to a vehicle for business-related travel
        • A clear background check
