There are 10 OR Suites and 1 Cysto suite. There are 8 Full-Time
Surgical Techs and 2 PRN Techs. There are 10 OR Nurses and 2 PRN OR
Nurses. Day Shift consists of 1 Charge Nurse, 7-8 Techs, 8 RNs, and
3 CNAs. Staffing continues until 5 PM, with on-call staff available
after 5 PM for either 14-hour or 16-hour shifts. Night Shift
consists of on-call staff only after 7 PM. Patient Ratios are 1:1
for general cases (1 ST:1 RN) and 2:2 for cardiovascular cases (2
ST:2 RN). The type of equipment includes EMR - MediTech. Most
recruited skills include the ability to scrub cardiovascular
surgery procedures. Candidates must have scrub experience in
general procedures and other cases. Preferred skills include CV
scrub skills, orthopedics scrub skills, and robotic surgery scrub
skills. Typical procedures performed include CABGs, mitral valve
replacements, femoral bypass, and thrombectomy. Additional
procedures include orthopedic, neuro/spine, general (robotics), GYN
(robotics), urology, ENT, and podiatry. The ideal candidate has a
positive attitude and is willing to work collaboratively with the
team. Floating Area(s) may include potential coverage for an ASC
across the street, although this is extremely rare. Dress code
requires blue scrubs provided by the facility due to daily change
requirements. May provide on-call coverage for 1-2 nights per week
and 1 weekend per month. There is a weekend team on-site for 12
hours per day; however, additional emergency case coverage may be
