Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Correctional - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/07/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Corrections Registered Nurse • Nights Join our team in Huntsville, TX, as a Corrections Registered Nurse for night shifts, providing vital healthcare in a correctional facility. Responsibilities: • Deliver quality nursing care in a correctional setting. • Manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. • Float between units within a 10-30 minute radius, with drive time compensated. • Maintain professionalism and independence. Schedule: • Night shifts: 17:45 to 06:15. • 36 hours/week guaranteed, with potential overtime. • 4•week block scheduling, Saturday to Friday workweek. Qualifications: • Active Compact or Texas RN license. • BLS certification. • 2 years RN experience, 1 year in Acute Care or Med Surg. • Experience in LTAC, ER, Skilled Nursing, or Psych is a plus. Additional Info: • COVID•19 vaccination required; exemptions accepted. • Weekend orientation post-credentialing. • Continuous employment with extension potential.
