be considered. A registered nurse with experience in stepdown or
progressive care is needed for a contract position based in
Liberty, MO. This role involves providing specialized nursing care
in a fast-paced environment focused on post-surgical and trauma
patients. The ideal candidate should be adaptable, skilled in
critical care nursing, and comfortable with periodic floating
across departments to meet patient care needs. Location: Liberty,

Experience: Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, especially in
stepdown, telemetry, or progressive care units Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification required National Institutes of Health Stroke
Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred First-time nurse contractors
are welcome to apply Must be able to float within the scope of
practice to various units and departments Licensure accepted if
pending, provided all other criteria are met Availability for night
shifts: three 12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15 Ability to work 8
weekend shifts across 6-week scheduling blocks Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients post-bariatric
surgery and urological, hepatobiliary, colorectal, and trauma
surgeries Manage complex wound care needs including necrotizing
soft tissue infections requiring serial debridement and wound
vacuum therapy Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize
patient outcomes in a progressive care setting Adapt and provide
quality care across units as required, demonstrating flexibility
with assigned floating Additional Information: This is a contract
position with guaranteed minimum hours of 3 shifts per 13 weeks
Regular buffer shift cancellations will align with assigned shift
lengths Home address must be at least 75 miles away from the
facility to meet local radius requirements No on-call
responsibilities or block scheduling accommodations Eligible
