Diabetes & Endocrinology Medical Assistant – Texas Start Date:
February 16, 2026 Location: Houston, Texas Compensation: Details
provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Monday–Friday, choice of
8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 7:30 AM–6:00 PM (4-day rotation within M–F)
Highlights: High-volume specialty clinic serving 90–140 patients
daily with a collaborative team of 8–11 providers per shift Work
alongside 32 faculty members and 12 fellows in a dynamic teaching
environment Comprehensive diabetes and endocrine care including
hyperglycemia/hypoglycemia management and insulin administration
Epic EMR system utilized for streamlined documentation and workflow
Shared nursing and medical assistant responsibilities supporting
back-of-house operations including triage, prior authorizations,
and patient communications Flexible schedule options to support
work-life balance Requirements: Experience in Pediatric Diabetes
(required) Experience in Endocrinology (required) BLS Certification
(required) Ambulatory/outpatient clinic experience strongly
preferred Epic EMR experience preferred Proficiency in basic
internal medicine teachings, pulse teachings, and clinic-based
