This role is pivotal in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient comfort and safety while supporting clinical decisions through timely and accurate scanning. You will work under the supervision of medical imaging professionals during night shifts, improving health outcomes through your technical expertise and compassionate care. Operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce images of patients' internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. Adjust scanning equipment and adhere to safety protocols to ensure patient and staff safety. Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and positioning patients to achieve the best outcome. Analyze the results from diagnostic procedures and collaborate with the medical team to plan appropriate treatment. Maintain patient records and radiologic files, ensuring documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Perform routine maintenance on CT equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Provide on-call support as needed to meet hospital demands. Proficient in operating and maintaining CT imaging equipment. Strong analytical skills to interpret medical images. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and healthcare staff. Capacity to handle a high-stress, fast-paced environment. Attention to detail for accurate imaging and patient safety.
