Job Description Job Description Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1 years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) role is available to support elementary students in a school setting located in Conroe, TX. This contract position will provide essential therapeutic services to enhance development and school participation for young learners. The assignment is onsite and ideal for COTAs with experience in educational environments. Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to elementary school students Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments and document progress on therapy goals Participate in team meetings to support student needs and outcomes Qualifications and Experience: Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in an elementary school setting Knowledge of school-based occupational therapy practices and IEP processes Strong communication and teamwork skills Location and Schedule: Position based onsite in Conroe, TX Part-time hours, approximately 8-16 hours per week Contract length through May 22, 2026 Immediate start date available This opportunity allows you to make a positive impact on childrens educational experiences while working within a supportive school environment.
