Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated
Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals in
our network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. As a key
component of our patient-centered care approach, you will play an
instrumental role in helping patients recover from various injuries
and illnesses, empowering them towards optimal recovery. You will
have the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team,
utilizing the latest in innovative treatment techniques and
equipment. Assess patient conditions through vigilant monitoring
and evaluation. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor
for any side effects. Collaborate with physical therapists,
occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to
develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans. Educate
patients and their families on illnesses and injury recovery,
ensuring they have realistic expectations and understand their
roles in the process. Maintain patient records with accuracy and
ensure confidentiality is upheld. Strong clinical skills in a
hospital setting. Proficient in utilizing medical software and
electronic health records. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a
multidisciplinary team. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse license. Basic Life Support
(BLS) Certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Certification preferred.
