Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS Must-Have: Radiology nursing experience or ICU/ER experience Description: Radiology nursing experience in interventional radiology or procedural settings is required. Candidates must be ACLS certified. If no radiology nursing experience, ICU or ER experience is acceptable, with the ability to take call. Looking for a Radiology RN with critical care experience (ICU or ER). Experience with CT scans, interventional medicine, moderate sedation, pick lines, and anesthesia care is essential. The setting is similar to a Cath Lab, working with a schedule of outpatients and accommodating inpatients when needed. The RN needs to be flexible and understand that the environment can be very busy at times.
