Laredo, TX. About The Role: We are seeking a high-impact Project
Manager to lead and execute critical operational and system
implementation initiatives across multiple warehouse and logistics
sites. This role demands a hands-on, highly mobile leader who
thrives in fast-paced environments and can enforce project
structure, resolve roadblocks, and ensure on-time and on-budget
delivery. The Project Manager will oversee 2 concurrent project
workstreams, coordinate POD-based implementation teams, and serve
as the central accountability driver across operational, technical,
and vendor stakeholders. This position requires extensive travel to
distribution centers across the U.S. Responsibilities: Project
Execution & Adherence Manage project execution — planning,
implementation, tracking, accountability adherence, detail
follow-up with assigned operational and POD team members on meeting
assignment timelines and all required documentation —
Responsibility to manage 1-2 WMS integration across multiple sites.
Ensure strict adherence to defined milestones, budgets, and scope,
escalating risks proactively.to POD Implementation Manage and
Steering Committee Participate as the project management lead for a
dedicated POD team structure, ensuring roles, responsibilities, and
deliverables are clearly aligned and executed. Accountability &
Risk Mitigation Drive cross-functional accountability through
structured follow-up with responsible parties in operations, IT,
training, POD Team members and vendors. Identify and manage project
risks, interdependencies, and bottlenecks with clear mitigation
plans and timelines. Conduct site readiness assessments and develop
corrective action plans where needed. Structured Reporting Own the
project communications rhythm: Daily reports for site-level task
status, blockers, and logistics Weekly executive updates covering
project KPIs, risks, timeline adherence Monthly dashboards tied to
overall budget performance, milestone delivery, and resource
alignment Facilitate tollgate reviews and go/no-go decision
checkpoints with key stakeholders. Field Implementation & Travel
Travel to implementation sites regularly (estimated 14–16 months
with 90% travel) to oversee onsite execution, lead meetings, and
conduct audits. Coordinate with local site leaders, WMS
implementation team members, trainers, to ensure real-time issue
resolution and training delivery. Requirements: Experience with PMO
principles or Industrial Engineering degree with a benefit with WMS
integrations a plus Project management experience in logistics,
warehouse systems (WMS), or operations environments Beneficial to
have experience managing multiple concurrent projects across
different teams or locations. Experience implementing WMS, ERP, or
large-scale operational systems. Exceptional written and verbal
communication skills; confidence leading meetings from floor to
C-suite. Willingness and ability to travel extensively for the full
