people turn their financial dreams into realities About The Role As
a Sr. Pension Consultant, you will be responsible for consulting
with plan sponsors, consultants, attorneys on all aspect of defined
contribution retirement plans including nonqualified plans and
non-ERISA plans. Responsibilities Consult with plan sponsors on
nondiscrimination testing, plan design, assist with cost
projections and plan documents questions. Experience with plan
corrections utilizing the principles under EPCRS. General
understanding of controlled groups and affiliated service groups
with regards to plan limits and nondiscrimination testing. Ability
to work with various departments to complete assigned projects.
Assist with the acquisition’s management team with onboarding new
plans by identifying and communication issues related to plan
design and operations. Provide research, analysis, and problem
resolution assistance on plan compliance issues to various teams
across the organization. Assist with escalated plan
compliance/regulatory issues. Provide guidance and assistance to
plan sponsors to successfully respond to IRS and DOL plan audits.

with business needs. Skills and Qualifications Some experience and
knowledge of IRC, DOL, ERISA, tax laws and regulations that are
applicable to defined contribution plans. Bachelor's Degree with 2
years related experience in the retirement industry with
administration of defined contribution retirement plans including
401(k), 403(b), 401(a), Profit Sharing, Money Purchase plans.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience
communicating with plan sponsors, attorneys, and consultants. Ideal
candidate who can take charge and deliver results with minimal
supervision. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications with
emphasis on Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. ASPPA or other
industry designations preferred (CPC, QKA, CEBS, TGPC). Work
Location This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Houston,
TX office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives
